Several new details and Easter eggs have been added to the upcoming Museum of Antiquities Tribute Store for Halloween Horror Nights 34 at Universal Studios Florida.

Beginning August 29 at Universal Orlando Resort, guests can step inside the remains of the abandoned Museum of Antiquities in this year’s all-new Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store. Signage has now been added to the exterior of the Palace Arcade, which will house this year’s store alongside the Sahara Traders gift shop.

Guests will enter the highly-themed retail space through the main atrium of the museum and venture into the decrepit exhibit halls where an ancient evil was once unleashed. The main display added to the exterior advertises the “newest exhibit” with “Occult Artifacts of the World.”
Guests will be able to witness the “cursed allure of the Pithos of Epimetheus,” which was previously hinted at in a journal located in Boris Shuster’s office. Epimetheus is the Greek god of hindsight and excuses, who is also known as the brother of Prometheus. In some versions of the story, it is Epimetheus who opens Pandora’s Box. Read more of the backstory here.

The other two displays feature the “Lost Statue of Poseidon” and “Weapons of Ancient Greece.” The statue is on loan from the Global Discovery Group, which was the archeological team from Poseidon’s Fury, helmed by Baxter. According to the store’s backstory, Baxter also curated this collection after discovering the Pithos of Epimetheus.
The helmet pictured in the Weapons of Ancient Greece image is from Nightingales: Blood Pit from HHN 29. The Nightingales are recurring creatures, named such because they took the form of nurses in their 2011 debut. They feast on the dying, and are drawn to mass casualty events such as World War I and Gladiator arenas.

Vines were added later to the themed exterior signage, likely to tie it in with the overall Conservatory theme.

A new display with nods to several previous Halloween Horror House themes and lore has been added. The center crate features a bust of the Curator, a nod to the Halloween Horror Nights 32 Tribute Store. Expanding from the crate are tentacles for a Cthulhu creature. The “Spooky Spells” sign is from the checkout area of the HHN 31 tribute store.

One of the tentacles has grabbed hold of Boris Shuster’s hat. The red Room 237 tag is a nod to Overlook Hotel from The Shining house, and the skull candle is from The Amulet of Fear at HHN 28.

The tentacles also surround devilish masks and a broken piece of a Wonders of the Ancient Garden crate from The Museum of Antiquities, the overall theme for last year’s HHN tribute store that is being plussed up for HHN 34.

Featured toward the back of the display is a board game from the 2023 Halloween Horror Nights Tribute Store, themed to twisted comic book shop McPherson’s Collectibles Cards & Comics.

Toward the back of the display is the Frankenstein Monster figure from the comic book shop window.

Surrounding the Easter egg-filled display, lots of rope, greenery, and vines wrap around the shelving and columns of the store.

The vines and rope continue around the store, surrounding all of the new Halloween Horror Nights 2025 merchandise.
Halloween Horror Nights 34 runs on select nights from August 29 through November 2 at Universal Studios Florida.
