FIRST LOOK at Destination D23-Exclusive Items from Lug

WDWNT was invited to attend a special preview for the exclusive D23 Lug merchandise that will be available at this weekend’s Destination D23 at Walt Disney World.

Lug D23 Preview Event

This year’s Destination D23 is presented by Lug. As such, the brand has several D23-branded items that will be available during the event. As this was a preview only, WDWNT was unable to get prices for these items.

While no exclusive bags will be available, there are several other branded items to add as accessories to pre-existing bags. While Destination D23 lasts all weekend, today, Friday, August 29, is a designated shopping day. Shopping (by reservation time) is available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., and guests can pick up limited edition merchandise at their reserved time, including these Lug-branded exclusives.

Stitch Bag Charm

The first Destination D23-exclusive item is a Stitch Bag Charm. The popular alien looks to be running wild, and can be attached to any Lug bag with a charm bar.

Mickey Bag Charm

Mickey Mouse carrying his suitcase is the icon for this year’s Destination D23, so this charm is the perfect nod to the event. Mickey is wearing his classic red shorts and yellow shoes, although they are muted in this design. He carries a suitcase to visit his next “destination.”

Chip ‘n’ Dale Bag Charm

The last of the Lug Bag Charms features Chip ‘n’ Dale in their Rescue Rangers outfits.

Destination D23 Keychain

This keychain can be used for a key ring or attached to a Lug bag for extra flair. It has a chrome clip and features the “Destination” Mickey and Destination D23 wordmark embroidered on either side.

Destination D23 Lanyards

There are also three different lanyards available for the event. Each has a different combination of blue, white, and teal, which are colors often used for D23 events. Each also features one of the three icons: Mickey, Stitch, or Chip ‘n’ Dale.

Destination D23 Luggage Tag

Lastly, there is a Destination D23 “Lug”gage tag featuring Stitch on a lime green material. He stands above the Destination D23 logo and “Presented by Lug.” The back of the tag has a clear slot for IDs or luggage information.

Destination D23 begins today with the shopping experience. Panels will be held on Saturday, August 30, and Sunday, August 31. The panels will be livestreamed for Gold Members on the D23 website. Read our post for a full look at what panels have been announced for this year’s event.
