The Beak and Barrel Pirates Tavern Merchandise Now Available at Disney World

To celebrate the opening day of The Beak and Barrel, the new Pirates of the Caribbean-themed tavern at Magic Kingdom, new merchandise for the venue is now available at Walt Disney World.

Open wrought-iron gates lead into Beak and Barrel Pirates Tavern, a warmly lit Disney World merchandise shop at night.

We found both items in the collection for sale at Plaza del Sol Caribe Bazaar in Adventureland.

The Beak and Barrel T-shirt is red heather. The logo for the new bar is printed in black ink on the left chest.

On the back of the shirt, Rummy stands on a turned-over barrel, with the bar logo overlaid on the barrel itself.

Rummy the Parrot Shoulder Plush – $24.99

A plush green parrot with an eye patch and anchor symbol is held at Disney World’s Beak and Barrel Pirates Tavern gift shop.

This shoulder plush depicts Rummy, the new barker bird found inside The Beak and Barrel, and the first mate of its owner, Captain Meridian “Merry” Goldwyn.

The plush has green “feathers,” a pirate’s hat, an eyepatch, a “tattoo” of an anchor on its chest, and a peg-leg.

This same shoulder plush is also available online from the Disney Store, but labeled instead as “Peg-Leg Pete Shoulder Plush.” It originally debuted on the Disney Cruise Line.

A hand holds a Beak and Barrel Pirates Tavern merchandise booklet showing how to place a bird sticker on a shirt.

Attached to the plush is a booklet that explains how to attach the plush to your shoulder. It includes a small fabric disk with a magnet inside, which is placed on your shoulder beneath your shirt. Just place the Rummy plush on top, and you’re ready to hit the high seas!

The Beak and Barrel is now open at Magic Kingdom. When reservations opened (after being delayed due to technical issues), nearly all dates of the first two months of operation were completely booked within one hour.
