Jaws Bathroom & World Expo Bridge Nearly Complete at Universal Studios Florida

Both the former Jaws bathroom and World Expo Bridge appear complete and ready for guest use ahead of Halloween Horror Nights 2025, which begins next week.

Jaws Bathroom

Single-story dark building labeled "Restrooms" with barriers in front, under a blue sky with some clouds.

The building is one of the last remaining elements of the former Amity Island area that was replaced by Diagon Alley. It has been closed since February 2025. The building was once white, before being updated to more of a brown color. The exterior has changed colors again with this latest refurbishment.

After completing the installation of new siding, the refurbishment appears to be finished. However, the restrooms are still closed. Gray-wrapped barrier gates still block the entrance to the area.

The refreshed building now has dark gray siding with white frames around all the windows and doorways. New shrubbery and landscaping has also been added around the updated facade. It is possible Universal is trying to get these bathrooms ready to open prior to the beginning of the park’s busy season, led by Halloween Horror Nights 34.

It has not been confirmed whether or not the bathrooms will retain any of their old Amity Island appearance or any Jaws references.

World Expo Bridge

A fenced-off area with empty pavement near a colorful amusement park highlights important bathroom updates underway.

The shortcut bridge connecting the Wizarding World of Harry Potter and Springfield also appears to be nearing completion, with only barrier gates blocking the path. Work began on the bridge a few weeks ago, and it was partially dismantled for the floorboards and railings to be replaced.

Recently, new floorboards were installed across most of the bridge. That installation project appears to be complete. It also appears that the lagoon has returned to its normal height surrounding the bridge.

From Springfield, it is clear that all scaffolding has come down and final preparations are being made for the bridge to reopen as well.
