The latest addition to the windows of the Emporium in Disneyland Park is Moana, with the store debuting a new display featuring the film’s characters and some special effects.
Moana Window Display

The Emporium on Main Street, U.S.A. has a new Moana-inspired window display, specifically featuring the characters as they are seen in Moana 2. Maui and Moana herself are seen sailing together on her boat through some rolling waves.

Moana is wearing her outfit from the second film, which has the white top and a skirt covered with red patterned fabric. She is leaning off the side of her boat with a determined expression.

Maui is standing just behind Moana, looking excited with his hook raised high in the air and his hair blowing in the breeze.

One fun special effect for this window is some lighting added to Maui’s hook, causing it to glow blue.

On the opposite side of the boat, Pua and Hei Hei appear to be holding on tightly. White sea foam surrounds the sides of the boat where it touches the water.

There did appear to be a few more places where possible animations or movement may be planned. There were some slots near the back of the display that looked like they may include additional components, but nothing was moving when we visited.

Near the back of the display, Te Fiti is looking down over the characters in her signature leafy green outfit. The background is colored like the sky at sunset, with some puffy clouds in shades of yellow, pink, and purple.

Finally, hidden in one of the top corners of the display is a small Kakamora. The coconut-shaped character is holding onto a rope that is dangling from the roof and clutching a blow dart in the other hand.
The most recent window display added to the Emporium, prior to Moana, was the Zootopia display added around the time of the park’s 70th anniversary.
