The Dead Coconut Club at Universal CityWalk Orlando has opened for the Halloween Horror Nights 2025 season, this year featuring a witch theme.
Dead Coconut Club 2025
What is the Dead Coconut Club?

The Dead Coconut Club is the annual Halloween overlay of the Red Coconut Club, which is a permanent fixture at Universal CityWalk Orlando. The Red Coconut Club also has seasonal overlays for Christmas (the Green and Red Coconut Club) and Mardi Gras (the Cursed Coconut Club).
Location and Hours
The Dead Coconut Club is located on the second floor of CityWalk.
The club is open nightly during Halloween Horror Nights (Wednesdays through Sundays from August 29 to November 2). It operates from 5:00 p.m. until 2:00 a.m.
Admission is free and all ages are allowed. However, guests under the age of 18 must be accompanied by an adult after 8 p.m.
What is ΚΟΛΣΝ?
ΚΟΛΣΝ (a play on the term “coven,” often used to describe a group of witches) stands for the sorority Kappa Omicron Lambda Sigma Nu. Guests enter the sorority house for the annual Samhain (a Gaelic term pronounced sow-en) bash, otherwise known as an All Hallow’s Eve party.
Exterior

The sisters have decorated for the party. A large light-up ΚΟΛΣΝ sign is located outside. Hanging from the second floor railing is a horned animal skull with tree branch arms and tattered “clothes.”

A “Welcome Pledges!” banner hangs behind the glowing sign. There are pumpkins placed on the overhang. There is faux brick trim and columns making the club look more like an old sorority building.

There are metal barrels in a pile by the door, with red and green lights glowing from below them. One barrel is covered in band-style stickers.
Main Floor
Entry

In the lobby is a photo op with a glowing ΚΟΛΣΝ sign in an iron frame. It hangs above a smoking pyre. There are two bookshelves filled with potion ingredients, skulls, and spell components.
First Bar

The first bear near the entrance is decorated as a kitchen. Herbs and plants hang drying over the counter. The ΚΟΛΣΝ logo appears on a screen behind the bar.

To the left of the bar is a cauldron full of glowing, smoking green liquid.

Behind it is another shelving unit of spell materials. Hanging in the center is a gold and blue astrolabe-like device featuring a skull and zodiac symbols.

Garlic hangs over the fridge as a reference to last year’s vampiric Dead Coconut Club. There’s a vintage-style stove with a broom. More kitchen supplies hang on the walls.

A cabinet houses a jar of Major Sweets candy. On a nearby table is a wooden tray and a cutting board with a dagger.
First Floor Bar Menu

Lounge Seating

Between the bar and dance floor is an intricately-carved console table topped with fake punch, pizza boxes, and red Solo cups. Behind the table is a triptych of stained glass windows depicting witches in the middle of different spells. One is stabbing a heart among goblets, one holds an apple up in front of a wave of bones, and one holds a hand of flames while breaking free from ropes on a burning pyre.

A folding table holds a sign-in sheet for pledges and a bucket for donations or “equivalent in souls”. A sign on the table reads, “Happy Samhain!”

Another stained glass window depicts a blue and gold crest featuring a torch, skull, and spell book. The Latin motto — “Per scientiam comburimus quod olim nos combusserat — translates to “Through knowledge, we burn what once burned us.”

Around the corner is the dance floor and lounge area. There are tables and padded chairs next to benches. A diagram of celestial bodies hangs on the wall next to a telescope.

A bulletin board on a column is labeled “Take a spell, leave a spell.” The papers on the board feature mysterious symbols and writing in strange languages.

There’s a living room area dedicated to cat familiars. The ΚΟΛΣΝ logo is printed on a large cat photo op surrounded by framed pictures of cats. There’s even a giant black cat fighting a shark.

The living room space includes two leather arm chairs topped with cat-patterned pillows. Between them is an end table with a sparkling cat figure and cat-shaped coasters.

In front of the chairs is another table with a couple of gold coins on a piece of fabric featuring a maze design, snakes, and torches. Heart-shaped sunglasses also sit on the table.

A fireplace features a cat face above its flames. On a shelf above the fireplace is a clown cat, a winged cat figure, and a pumpkin. Cat damask curtains hang on the walls.
Dance Floor

The dance floor decorations pay homage to witch burnings. There is a pile of sticks glowing as though on fire, waiting for a witch.

Around the DJ booth are witch mannequins with glowing moon elements on their chests. Barren trees are looming behind them. Vines grow over the DJ booth and stone base.

The ΚΟΛΣΝ logo is projected on the slanted ceiling. It’s a purple shield emblem framed by laurels and a subtle pentagram. A green highlight is at the bottom, behind “Dead Coconut club.”

Decals and lighting make the floor look like a lake with a stone pathway around it.

Another horned skull with branch arms and tattered clothes is on a post looking over the dance floor. This is similar to the Irish Láir Bhán or Welsh Mari Lwyd folk creatures.
Dance Floor Bar

Behind the bar next to the dance floor is a miniature doorway resembling the entrance to a spooky building. A full moon is projected on the wall. Both bars on the first floor share a menu.
Second Floor
Stairs

Along the walls of the stairs are various framed photos, seemingly of former and current sorority sisters — and their cats. A larger piece reads, “As above so below,” a paraphrase from the Emerald Tablet often used by occultists.

This frame holds dozens of photos of the ΚΟΛΣΝ Executive Advisory Council members.
Hallway

The second floor is themed to the bedrooms of the sorority sisters. There’s a vanity with hair care supplies and candles. An octopus plush sits on top. There’s a hamper and a large Squishmallow nearby.

A small table is topped with more bathroom supplies and potions. A large piece of quartz is on the ground next to it.

Tall tables and chairs sit in front of walls covered in sequin curtains and sheer curtains strung with fairy lights. There are alcoves looking out on the second floor, like balconies of the sisters’ bedrooms.

There are stuffed animals that have been altered in strange ways, like this rabbit with its face on its stomach. A bat skull is mounted on the wall in an ornate frame.

There’s a neon duck with a knife. A shelf features plants, a “Stay Positive” grim reaper sign, and a doll with fangs and tentacles.

There are witchy band posters, like one for the Breaking Hearts Tour featuring Hecates Hellraisers. Another for Stray Warlocks hangs above a dresser. A plush bat with arcane adornments is hanging on the wall next to the poster.

On the dresser is a record player with a record labeled “Check Ya Energy.” A toy spider is sitting on the player. There are books, candles, and plants around it, plus another Major Sweets candy jar.

There are Carey Theater movie tickets on the dresser and a bulletin board. Carey, Ohio is the hometown of an HHN creator and a recurring location in the event. The movies are Mummy Strippers and Sorority Sacrifice, both fictional films from Slaughter Sinema haunted houses.
The bulletin board also has a flyer for the Gardening Club, a spell for migraine relief, and a reminder to clean the blood off your familiar’s paws.

Near the bathrooms is a neon sign reminding guests, “Please don’t summon demons in the bathroom.”
Lounge

To the right of the upstairs bar is a pair of seats in front of a wall of weaponry. These include ancient-looking hammers, curved swords, axes, and spears. A neon sign in the center reads, “Slay girl, slay.”

A teddy bear with exposed bones and horns is pinned inside a sarcophagus. The school mascot has been imprisoned in a human-sized cage. There are more stained glass windows and a mannequin wearing a cloak.

In the center of the lounge space is a stone table surrounded by columns carved with runes. Curtains, ribbons, and chains hang over the table and columns.

Bodies are chained to a nearby stone wall. Between them are groups of skulls. These seem to be real-life “sorority sacrifices.”
Second Floor Bar

There are skulls lining the wall behind the bar. Shelves are covered in bones and more strange stuffed animals.
Second Floor Bar Menu

The cocktails available on the second floor have more generic witchy names. The Enchanted Garden is a mocktail.
