With the kickoff of Premium Scream Night for Halloween Horror Nights 2025, we have our first look at the new Stay and Scream HHN 2025 wristband system that Universal Orlando Resort will utilize for “Stay and Scream” this year.
New Stay and Scream HHN 2025 Wristband System
New for this year, guests will pick up a wristband upon arriving at Universal Studios Florida to explore the park at their leisure ahead of Halloween Horror Nights, rather than standing and waiting in a designated area when the park closes to regular guests.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 Wristband System
Wristbands will be available for guests starting at 3 p.m. on a Halloween Horror Nights event day. They can be picked up from the following locations:
- Lombard’s Seafood Grill
- Illumination’s Minion Cafe
- Illumination’s Villain-Con Minion Blast
Once guests have picked up their wristband, they are welcome to walk the park to enjoy its daily offerings before the event opens. Starting at 4 p.m. on event days, guests can enter select haunted house queues with the wristband.
When we picked up our wristbands at Premium Scream Night, we experienced no wait at all. We were walked into a curtained-off room full of Team Members with scanners and received our wristbands there.
After Universal Studios Florida officially closed to regular park guests, barriers were put up in multiple sections of the park. These barriers forced guests to walk through checkpoints where Team Members were checking wristbands and directing traffic. Using this system, guests are allowed to roam the park while waiting for the official HHN festivities to begin, as opposed to staying in a limited area.
The available haunted house opening times for Stay and Scream are as follows:
- Fallout — 5:15 p.m.
- Five Nights at Freddy’s — 5:15 p.m.
- WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks — 5:15 p.m.
- Dolls: Let’s Play Dead — 5:45 p.m.
- Grave of the Flesh — 5:45 p.m.
- Gálkn: Monsters of the North — 5:45 p.m.
- El Artista: A Spanish Haunting — 6 p.m.
- JASON UN1V3RSE — 6 p.m.
- Terrifier — 6 p.m.
- Hatchet & Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters — 5:45 p.m.
Halloween Horror Nights 2025
Halloween Horror Nights 2025 officially kicks off on Friday, August 29, following the sold-out preview event, Premium Scream Night, on Thursday, August 28. The annual haunt event will run on select nights through November 2, 2025. Tickets are on sale now.
This year’s event will feature 10 haunted houses:
- WWE Presents: The Horrors of the Wyatt Sicks
- Five Nights at Freddy’s
- Terrifier
- Fallout
- JASON UN1V3RSE
- Gálkn: Monsters of the North
- Grave of the Flesh
- Dolls: Let’s Play Dead
- Hatchet and Chains: Demon Bounty Hunters
- El Artista: A Spanish Haunting
Scare zones for 2025 include:
- The Origins of Horror
- Masquerade: Dance with Death
- Mutations: Toxic Twenties
- The Cat Lady of Crooked Lane
New for this year will be two “street experiences,” Mel’s Die-In Zombies and Club Horror. Also debuting this year is the Haunt-O-Phonic: A Ghoulish Journey lagoon show and Nightmare Fuel: Circus of Decay.
