Deadline confirmed the news after Marvel Studios head of TV, streaming, and animation Brad Winderbaum initially revealed it to IGN.

Winderbaum said the season will begin shooting in 2026.

A continuation of the Netflix series Daredevil that ran from 2015 to 2018, Daredevil: Born Again season 1 premiered on Disney+ in March 2025. Originally set to be 18 episodes, the show was significantly overhauled, leading to the season being split. The second half began filming early this year and will air as season 2 in March 2026. Like much of season 1, the season 2 premiere is directed by Aaron Moorhead and Justin Benson.

The showrunner of Daredevil: Born Again is Dario Scardapane. He co-created it with Matt Corman and Chris Ord. It stars Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock / Daredevil, alongside Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk / Kingpin, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye.
