Zootopia is coming to the stage in a musical that is currently in development by Disney Theatrical Productions.

Disney Theatrical Productions is developing a Zootopia musical.
The 90-minute musical stage adaptation version of the animated movie is currently being prepared for a League of Resident Theatres (LORT) production. LORT is the largest professional theatre association in the United States. There are 81 theatres in 30 states and the District of Columbia.

Future plans for the Zootopia musical include both professional and amateur licensing.

Zootopia

Zootopia follows Judy Hopps, the first bunny police officer who is eager to prove herself. She teams up with the sly fox Nick Wilde to uncover a conspiracy involving the disappearance of several predators. The sequel, Zootopia 2, will debut in theaters on November 26, 2025.
Currently, It’s Tough to be a Bug is being replaced by Zootopia: Better Together in Tree of Life Theater at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Crews recently installed the sign for the new show.
The new show debuts November 7 and centers around Zoogether Day, a Zootopia holiday. Guests will view animal acts as part of the celebration. Read more about the show’s story.

Additionally, a Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde will meet and greet with guests in their new Zootopia 2 outfits.
