Universal Orlando Resort Entrance Sign Gets New Characters, Plus New Walkway Banners

A variety of new signs and banners featuring the characters of the Universal Orlando Resort have popped behind the recently-installed entrance sign and along the walkways leading to both Universal Florida Resort and Islands of Adventure.

New Character Entrance Signs

This large Universal Orlando Resort entrance sign was just completed in March of 2025, though it now appears even more details have been added. This particular sign is located at the intersection of Kirkman Rd and Major Blvd / Tom Williams Wy.

Flanking the resort entrance are six new character signs that now include franchises found in the resort’s newest park, Epic Universe. Seen on one side are Hiccup and Toothless, Mario, and a trio of Minions.

On the other side of the entrance, Harry Potter, Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots, and a Jurassic Park velociraptor welcome you to Universal. The characters are all printed in the center of a rectangular sign with a solid color background.

New Banners on Universal Studios Florida Bridge

People walk along a pathway lined with banners and palm trees near Universal Orlando Resort under a cloudy sky.

On the bridge connecting Universal Studios Florida to CityWalk, you’ll find new park and character banners attached to the nearby lampposts.

Crowds walk toward the Universal Orlando Resort entrance, with banners featuring Minions, Trolls, and Shrek characters.

The park banners each feature a stylized images of one of the four Universal Orlando parks and the slogan “Four Parks,” followed by a matching description. The color of the banner matches the specific park, though the characters do not necessarily correlate to the park on the opposite side.

An orange banner represents Universal Studios Florida with “More Laughs.” Islands of Adventure gets a green banner and the slogan “More Thrills.”

The Chronos for Epic Universe is featured on a royal blue banner with “More Screams,” and Volcano Bay gets an ocean blue color with “More Chills.”

Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley wield their wands on this set of banners.

DreamWorks is represented with three sets of banners, respectively themed to Kung Fu Panda, Shrek, and Trolls. The banners feature Po, Master Shifu, Shrek, Donkey, Puss in Boots, Branch, and Poppy.

Finally, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee, plus a pair of Minions, welcome you to Universal Studios Florida.

New Banners on Islands of Adventure Bridge

On the other side of CityWalk heading to Islands of Adventure, you’ll also find new banners with a similar “Four Parks” style.

However, unlike the contrasting character banners on the Universal Studios Florida bridge, the character banners on this bridge are the same on both the left and right side of the walkway.

On your way to Islands of Adventure, you’ll pass by banners showing a Jurassic Park velociraptor and Tyrannosaurus Rex, Spider-man, Harry Potter, Hermione Granger, and Ron Weasley.
