Zootopia 2 Adds Andy Samberg, Macaulay Culkin, Brenda Song, & David Strathairn

Disney Animation announced more actors lending their voices to Zootopia 2 and released images of their new characters.

New Zootopia 2 Cast Members

The newly-announced characters are the members of the Lynxley Family. Andy Samberg is Pawbert Lynxley, “the easy-going runt of the powerful Lynxley family.” Macaulay Culkin is Cattrick Lynxley, “the ambitious oldest son of the Lynxley family.” Brenda Song is Kitty Lynxley, “the sharp-tongued daughter of the Lynxley family.” And David Strathairn is Milton Lynxley, “a distinguished business-mammal and the patriarch of one of Zootopia’s oldest and most prestigious families.” (via ABC 7)

As implied by their last name, the characters are all lynxes. The family is responsible for building the weather walls that help Zootopia’s biomes function. The images show them well-dressed at a party. It looks like Judy Hopps is also at the event.

Other previously-announced members joining the cast are Ke Huy Quan as Gary De’Snake, Fortune Feimster as Nibbles, Quinta Brunson as Dr. Fuzzby, and Patrick Warburton as Mayor Winddancer.

Returning cast members include Ginnifer Goodwin as Judy Hopps, Jason Bateman as Nick Wilde, Idris Elba as Chief Bogo, Shakira as Gazelle, Maurice LaMarche as Mr. Big, and Raymond S. Persi as Flash the Sloth.

Judy and Nick find themselves on the twisting trail of a mysterious reptile who arrives in Zootopia and turns the mammal metropolis upside down. To crack the case, Judy and Nick must go undercover to unexpected new parts of town.

Zootopia: Better Zoogether

Just before the film’s release, Zootopia: Better Zoogether will open at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. The new Tree of Life Theater show is a 9-minute film featuring Judy, Nick, and friends celebrating Zoogether Day. It will be hosted by new character Heidi Howler. The show will open on November 7, 2025, along with a new Judy and Nick meet and greet.
