Food Review

All Roads Lead To Oz Flatbread – $8.99

House-made focaccia with yellow chili cheese sauce, cheddar sauce, roasted yellow peppers, pepperoni and jalapeño

We were a little apprehensive about this one, especially considering the added cheddar cheese sauce. However, the peppers added enough flavor for an interesting aspect that overpowers the fake cheese taste. The bacon brick road added a nice saltiness and fun theming. Overall, it was not a bad value for the price.

Emerald City Focaccia – $9.99

House-made focaccia sandwich with basil pesto, sliced mortadella, eggs and sage derby cheese.

The focaccia is nice and flaky on the outside, but it is soft on the inside. The pesto soaks up into the bread, as well, so it is not too dry. The egg is a nice touch too. We really enjoyed this. It is similar to a Starbucks sandwich, in the best way.

Strawberriful Cheesecake Waffle – $8.99

Whipped cream cheese, strawberries in sauce, graham crumble, and popping white chocolate

Unfortunately, this was not impressive. It wasn’t bad, but the waffle was slightly tough and there was an odd artificial taste. The toppings were good, but we probably wouldn’t get this again. However, a fresh waffle might make all the difference.

Beverage Review

Three Olives Rosé Vodka, Bols Elderflower, Triple Sec, dragonfruit syrup and pink lemonade. Garnished with a pink sugar rim and two lemon sour candy belts

A hand holds a vibrant pink drink with a sugared rim and gummies, outdoors amid lush greenery, reminiscent of Disney park treats.

This drink was really good, although messy. The alcohol taste is there, but it does not overpower the other flavors. The only drawback is the price.

Enchanting Elixir – $17

El Tesoro® Blanco Tequila, Bols Melon, sour green apple syrup and lemonade. Garnished with a green sugar rim and a lime wheel

This reminded us of a stout apple juice. It was actually very refreshing, and the sugar rim added a nice touch. We just wish it was a half rim to avoid the mess. The heat melted the green sugar down the sides of the cup, and we had green all over our faces. The drink offers a nice mix a sweet and sour, and we would get it again. The high cost for the size brings our rating down by a point.

Schwab’s Pharmacy Wicked Milkshakes

Menu

  • Wizard Elixir Shake – $12.99
  • The Yellow Road Shake – $12.99

Milkshake Review

Wizard Elixir Shake – $12.99

Mint chocolate chip ice cream shake topped with whipped cream, chocolate drizzle, chocolate pieces, green glitter glaze, and a chocolate Elixir Bottle

This tasted like Christmas in a cup. It was delicious with a strong mint flavor. You can taste the chocolate, but it is not too sweet. If you don’t like mint, this isn’t for you. The only drawback was the mess and green dye again. This is another one that will stain your hands.

The Yellow Road Shake – $12.99

Dulce de leche ice cream shake with whipped cream, white chocolate icing drizzle, and gold glitter glaze, topped with yellow brick road candy and a chocolate piece

This shake was extremely messy and fell apart before we could try it. It has a strong caramel flavor, but it was just okay for the price. We don’t know that it is worth the trip when you could get something similar at McDonald’s for half the price.
