* WHAT…Temperatures as low as 32 will result in frost formation.
* WHERE…Inland Indian River, Inland Martin, Inland Northern Brevard, Inland Saint Lucie, Inland Southern Brevard, Inland Volusia, Northern Lake, Okeechobee, Orange, Osceola, Seminole, and Southern Lake.
* WHEN…From 1 AM to 9 AM EST Thursday.
* IMPACTS…Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS…
Take steps now to protect tender plants from the cold.
Walt Disney World and Universal Orlando Resort are both in Orange County with some areas of Disney in Osceola. The cold weather will continue over the next few days, possibly affecting New Year’s Eve celebrations.
Typhoon Lagoon and Volcano Bay will be both be closed on select dates this week as well.
According to the Weather Channel, the high temperature for today, December 31, 2025, in the Walt Disney World Resort area (ZIP code 32830) is 56°F with a low of 37°F.
Guests should wear hats, gloves, and other appropriate clothing. Residents should keep pets indoors and take precautions to protect outdoor plants from freezing.
