A new mug available at Walt Disney World celebrates 30 years of Muppet Treasure Island. We found the mug at Celebrity 5 & 10 in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
Muppet Treasure Island Mug – $27.99
The mug is stoneware but shaped and textured like a wooden barrel with silver metallic hardware. The handle also looks like wood with metal supports. A metallic medallion on one side depicts Kermit the Frog as Captain Abraham Smollett.
On the other side is a Muppet Treasure Island medallion. The film was released in theaters on February 16, 1996.
A 30th anniversary logo is on the bottom, suggesting more merchandise could be on its way. But that could be wishful thinking on our parts. Rizzo the Rat (as himself) is also pictured on the base.
The mug holds 595 mL / 21 oz. It’s dishwasher-safe and microwaveable.
In other Muppet-related news, Rizzo the Rat and Bean Bunny returned in two videos posted by The Muppets on Christmas Eve. Disney also announced the revival special of The Muppet Show starring Sabrina Carpenter will premiere on Disney+ and ABC on February 4, 2026.
