The kiosk, which replaces Expo Eats, now has a visible roof and shape. We previously saw the framework for the new kiosk through scrims.
New Universal Snack Kiosk

Construction began in this area in October. The walls are behind the Face Paint kiosk and run through the Central Park archway.

The new kiosk is a few yards behind where Expo Eats used to be. It appears to be a square building with a gazebo-like overhang jutting out to the side. Right now, the exterior is green, but this could be covered later. The new structure has small latticework and filigree elements along the edge of its roof.

It seems the new kiosk will have theming to better match other kiosks in the Central Park area. Expo Eats had mid-century sci-fi theming to match the World Expo area of Universal Studios Florida, but it hasn’t been part of that land for nearly 10 years. When The Simpsons replaced Back to the Future in 2008, much of World Expo was re-themed into Springfield.
Though the area was technically still classified as World Expo until 2016, now only Men in Black: Alien Attack is part of the land.

We don’t yet know what the new snack kiosk will offer, but Expo Eats served popcorn, ICEEs, sodas, and other small snacks.
