Demolition Work At Former Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort Entrace

Work has continued at the old entrance of Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort after the new roadway entrance opened late last year. The old entrance will be converted into a bus entrance, and work is well underway.

From the monorail, we can see numerous fenced-off areas in the parking lot, as well as several cranes performing demolition work. While the future site of the new bus stop remains unfinished, buses are dropping off at the Great Ceremonial House’s porte cochere.

The old guard house remains visible from the monorail. A new guard shack became operational late last year, as this entire project is meant for a new roadway entrance off Floridian Way with the intention of replacing the former entrance off Seven Seas Drive.

To close off Polynesian construction work, no updates were visible at the Aotearao buildings after the stairs were recently rebuilt.
