The collection will be released for digital download on the Nintendo Switch and Nintendo Switch 2 on February 26, 2026, with physical copies coming later. The added games will be Bonkers (1994) and Goof Troop (1993), joining DuckTales, Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers, TaleSpin, Darkwing Duck, DuckTales 2, and Chip ‘n Dale Rescue Rangers 2.
The games have new and improved visuals, and filtering options that “replicate a retro look and feel.” There will also be Boss Rush and Time Attack modes encouraging time-based gameplay. A new “Rewind” feature makes the titles more accessible to newcomers. The in-game Museum will have extras like concept art and music from the original release eras.
The Disney Afternoon Collection was first released in 2017 for PlayStation 4, Windows, and Xbox One. The original games, based on the Disney Afternoon programming block, were created by Capcom for the NES in the ’90s.

When the physical copies are released, the collection will include a game cartridge, two sticker sheets, eight retro milk caps, and three collectible cards. Pre-orders are open for digital and physical games.
