Bob Iger, CEO of the Walt Disney Company, shared a post to his personal Instagram account on Sunday evening, accompanied by two photos of himself walking across a coastal landscape in the United Arab Emirates.
The post, albeit brief, provides our first glimpse at the location of Disney’s next theme park.
Walking the site of what will one day be Disneyland Abu Dhabi! Lots of work ahead, but all very exciting!
Development on the project is still in very early, preliminary stages, but Disney has shared a few details on the upcoming park ahead of its planned opening in the “early 2030s”.
