The Disney Skyliner aerial gondola system at Walt Disney World Resort is now closed for refurbishment, but only for a week.
Skyliner Closed for Weeklong Refurbishment

The Skyliner is currently closed for a routine maintenance refurbishment that will end on January 31, 2026. During this week, guests are encouraged to utilize Disney’s complimentary bus service.
And, although it is still a year away, Disney Skyliner will be closed for refurbishment from January 24, 2027, through January 30, 2027.
Disney Skyliner

The Disney Skyliner is a gondola lift system that opened in 2019 at Disney World, connecting several resort hotels, EPCOT’s International Gateway, and Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The resort properties with Skyliner access are Disney’s Pop Century Resort, Disney’s Art of Animation Resort, Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort, and Disney’s Riviera Resort.
The transportation system comprises five stations and a fleet of more than 250 gondola cabins that hold up to 10 guests, or up to six with an open wheelchair or electric scooter.
This mode of transportation is the only gondola system in North America to have separate stationary loading and unloading platforms at each station, with the exception of Disney’s Riviera Resort station. It’s also the second double-loading aerial lift system in the U.S.
