First released last fall, the collectible Duffy plush by Steiff has been restocked in the Germany pavilion at EPCOT at the Walt Disney World Resort. It’s available in Volkskunst with other Steiff plush.
Duffy Plush by Steiff – $450
The teddy bear has light brown fur and a Mickey-shaped face. He wears a white sailor shirt and hat with blue satin trim.
Duffy debuted as the Disney Bear with the opening of Once Upon a Toy at Disney Springs in 2002. He wasn’t very popular, so Disney gave him to the Oriental Land Company, who brought him to life as Duffy at Tokyo DisneySea in 2005. He proved incredibly popular in the Asian market and has gained several friends, plus appeared at other Disney resorts.
He’s even returned to Walt Disney World, usually as Santa Duffy during the holiday season. He finally made his Disneyland debut with his friend ShellieMay for the Disneyland 70th anniversary.
