Disneyland’s “it’s a small world” now has a reopening date, and the holiday overlay continues to be removed on the ride’s façade.

Disneyland’s ‘it’s a small world’ Reopening and Holiday Overlay Updates

The calendar on Disneyland’s website has now been updated with the reopening date for “it’s a small world” and shows that the ride will reopen on Friday, February 6, 2026. The ride recently closed on Monday, January 26, 2026, to remove the holiday overlay.

On our visit to the Disneyland Resort yesterday, we noticed that the lights on the outside of the ride have been partially removed, and the Clock Tower was no longer adorned with a Santa hat. On our previous visit a few days ago, crews were working outside on the queue and scaffolding had been installed at the far end of the façade.
