A second teaser trailer for The Muppet Show special aired during Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rockin’ Eve with Ryan Seacrest on ABC last night, though it has not yet been released officially online.

It features famous Muppets like Kermit, Miss Piggy, and Fozzie Bear alongside guest star Sabrina Carpenter and producer Seth Rogen.
X user @noellewes123 shared a video of the trailer playing on TV.
The revival is a single special but, as Kermit says, “It’s the return of The Muppet Show! Back on the very stage where it all started and then ended and is maybe starting again, depending on how tonight goes.”
In the first teaser, Kermit prepared the Muppet Theatre for their return.
The special will air on Disney+ and ABC on Disney+ and ABC on February 4, 2026. Veteran Muppet performers returning include Bill Barretta, Dave Goelz, Eric Jacobson, Peter Linz, David Rudman, and Matt Vogel. It’s directed by Alex Timbers.
