Disneyland Resort has confirmed that Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel will soon close its indoor space for refurbishment.
In a report from MickeyVisit.com, Disneyland Resort has confirmed that Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar at the Disneyland Hotel will close its indoor space for refurbishment starting February 17, 2026.
The closure was expected following a permit filed by Disneyland back in October outlining the following changes:
DLH – Trader Sam’s Enchanted Tiki Bar – Tenant Improvement: Replace (42) gas tiki torches with epoxy anchors at exterior. Install air conditioner at electrical room. Replace interior show effects, show lighting and lighting systems. With mechanical, electrical and plumbing.
As the permit suggests, the coming closure should directly affect the themed interior portion of the bar, known for its Jungle Cruise-inspired decor and interactive drink effects.
During the renovation period, indoor seating will be unavailable, but the outdoor dining and bar area will remain open so guests can still enjoy the food and beverage offerings from the bar.

Disneyland has not yet announced a reopening date or the full scope of the work. However, they have stated it will reopen in time for the 15th anniversary of Trader Sam’s, which is on May 25, 2026.
