Up Attraction Takes Shape, Attraction Footprint Visible

The Up-themed attraction in Disney Adventure World has begun to take shape, and we can see the footprint of the attraction in aerial photos.

The photos, posted on January 4 by DLP Works, reveal a major construction milestone for the future Up flying carousel along Adventure Way. The project has transitioned to building the structure of the attraction.

Concrete has been poured, creating a circular base for the attraction. The queue footprint has been marked. It outlines the future building that will house the attraction’s entrance, control room, and waiting area.

Adventure Way will open with World of Frozen and Walt Disney Studios Park will be renamed Disney Adventure World on March 29, 2026, but the Up ride is not expected to open until later in 2026 or even 2027.

It was officially announced in April 2025. As seen in concept art, the attraction will have balloon designs around its canopy so it looks like guests are swinging from balloons.

Despite lands themed to many Pixar films, this Disneyland Paris attraction will be the first-ever ride themed to Up. It will be located right across from Raiponce Tangled Spin.

A land inspired by The Lion King will also be added to Disney Adventure World later.
