Visit Neuschwanstein Castle, Inspiration for Sleeping Beauty Castle, on Adventures by Disney’s New Munich Escape

Have you ever wanted to visit Neuschwanstein Castle? You know, that castle that inspired Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland. Adventures by Disney has a brand new Munich Escape, which includes a visit to the iconic castle.

The new three-day/two-night Munich Escape offering allows guests to see the region’s picturesque settings in a short time or add as an extension to the Danube River Cruise.

Activities for the new Munich Escape include exploring the heart of Bavaria, creating your own traditional German treats in a hands-on workshop, and enjoying a drink at a centuries-old brewery.

However, the highlight of the trip is a journey to Neuschwanstein Castle. Sleeping Beauty Castle is Disney’s original castle, and it’s modeled after European medieval castles, particularly Neuschwanstein Castle.
