Walkway Pattern Installations Continue at Mexico Pavilion in EPCOT

In December 2025, we reported new sidewalk patterns delineating the line between the Mexico and Norway Pavilions in EPCOT. Now we spotted a new one on the other side of the Mexico Pavilion.

Walkway Patterns

The pattern shows a maze or swirl design in the center with four quadrants and zigzags separating them. On the outer perimeter of the design is a row of pyramid or stair-inspired patterns with a small hook loop on the right side. The stair shape is reminiscent of the Mexico Pavilion’s iconic pyramid.

As guests enter the Mexico Pavilion area, they’ll encounter a row of new concrete slabs with patterns. These Mayan-inspired patterns indicate they are entering a new area.

Right now the pattern only covers half of the stretch of sidewalk.

As of this morning, the patterns appear to be halfway done, only covering about half of the strip of pavement.
