Windows Added To A-Frame Cabins at Disney Lakeshore Lodge

As we noticed in the most recent aerial report that construction crews seemed focused on the A-frame cabins closest to the main building of Disney Lakeshore Lodge, it now appears they have been busy installing windows at the top of these cabins.

As visible in the pictures above, the windows at the top of the cabins have been installed in at least two of these A-frame cabins. Between the two windows where they have been installed, the framing for another window is visible. It appears they are installing the windows at those cabins that have a finished roof, as several still have plywood sheathing.

For a closer look at the rest of the resort, read our latest construction update here. Disney Lakeshore Lodge looms next to Fort Wilderness Resort, along Bay Lake. Like the early Reflections concept, Disney Lakeshore Lodge is a Disney Vacation Club resort and will be “inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists.” The new resort is set to open sometime in 2027, and progress can be seen from the monorail and on the water taxi from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground.
