Permit for Potential Bluey Sign Installation at Disneyland

Disney has filed a permit for a new sign to be installed at the Fantasyland Theatre in Disneyland, likely for the new Bluey stage show, Bluey’s Best Day Ever!

The permit is to “Install (1) non-illuminated wall sign on existing marquee.” That could mean the entrance archway to the theater, pictured above. Because the permit just mentions installation, not removal, we would assume the archway will remain as-is with the “Fantasyland Theatre” sign and the Bluey sign would be an addition if that is where the sign is going.

Crews have spent the past few weeks preparing the theater for Bluey’s Best Day Ever! This includes installing fake, cartoon trees and thematic walls.

Bluey’s Best Day Ever! is scheduled to open on March 22, 2026, and continue through the year. It will bring guests into the grounds of Bluey’s school on the “best day ever.” Bluey and Bingo will appear live on stage throughout the day with a troupe of comedic actors and musicians. Guests will enjoy a school fair featuring the Grannies, Chattermax, and Unicorse. The nearby Troubadour Tavern will offer special Bluey-inspired treats.
