First Thematic Walls Installed at Disneyland’s Fantasyland Theatre for ‘Bluey’ Stage Show

Work continues at the Disneyland Resort’s Fantasyland Theatre in preparation for the new Bluey stage show, Bluey’s Best Day Ever!

On our visit to the Disneyland Resort today, around 10:30 a.m., we noticed new changes to the Fantasyland Theatre stage. The theatre has been closed since January in preparation for the new Bluey stage show, Bluey’s Best Day Ever!

New striped partition walls block guests from approaching the stage, while new tall thematic walls covered with dark green scrim were installed on the stage.

The other side of the stage has the same walls covered in dark green scrim. The uncovered parts reveal light blue walls with scalloped edges, possibly to represent shrubbery or clouds for the Bluey stage show. Crews were previously spotted working on the stage itself, but no thematic elements were added at that time.

Beginning March 22, 2026, and continuing through the year, Bluey’s Best Day Ever! will transform the Fantasyland Theatre into the grounds of Bluey’s school, where guests can join the fun of Bluey’s best day ever.

Throughout the day, Bluey and her sister Bingo will appear live on stage, joining a troupe of comedic actors and musicians. Guests can step into the fair at Bluey’s school with the Grannies, Chattermax, Unicorse, and delight in themed favorite foods at Troubadour Tavern.
