Walt Disney Studios has now hired Tricia Wood as Executive Vice President (EVP) & Head of Casting. She previously worked at Paramount Pictures.
Tricia Wood Hired at Walt Disney Studios

In an announcement today via Deadline, Wood was named as the new EVP & Head of Casting for Walt Disney Studios. She previously worked for Paramount Pictures as EVP of Casting since 2020.
Wood will report to David Greenbaum, President of Disney Live Action and 20th Century Studios, and she will partner closely with leadership and filmmakers to guide casting strategy across the Disney live action, 20th Century Studios, and Searchlight Pictures labels.
Wood’s credits include Twilight, Wonder, Underworld, The Age of Adaline, The Lost City, Sonic the Hedgehog 2, IF, multi-Oscar winner La La Land, and the Academy Award–winning CODA. She is also a multiple-time Casting Society of America Artios Award winner for movies like CODA, La La Land, My Week with Marilyn, and RED.
