The exterior refurbishment of Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance at Disneyland Park appears to be complete. The ride is scheduled to reopen on Friday, February 13.
Rise of the Resistance Refurbishment

Scrim and scaffolding are gone from the turret at the ride’s entrance. The design of the turret and entryway doesn’t look different, but the paint may have been refreshed.

The weathering and dirt on the turret are purposeful.

These gates were also repainted and re-weathered but don’t have any design changes.
The ride has been closed since January 20, 2026. Disney didn’t announce any significant changes for the attraction. Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge is going through a timeline shift that will have half the land set during the original Star Wars trilogy. Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will still be set during the sequel era.
