EPCOT’s Mexico Pavilion has had scaffolding on the pyramid’s façade for quite a while now. Now that has expanded onto other areas of the pyramid, as well as backstage.

In our last written update, scaffolding and scrim was installed on the left side of the exterior of the Mexico Pavilion’s pyramid. This scaffolding was located above the left entrance door, making it inaccessible while the refurbishment work is done.

Now, the scaffolding has expanded further on the façade of the pyramid, in the foliage, and backstage.

The orange scrim we noticed last week is still present.

And, the exit that is located in the area where the scaffolding is installed is still closed.

It is unclear at this time what work is being done on the building—perhaps some ductwork based on the additional support beams we spotted inside the pavilion.
