During Troubadour Tavern’s months-long refurbishment, we noticed the scrim was rolled up at the quick-service location in Disneyland Park, showing progress on its roof.

It would appear the themed roofing has been added, suggesting the refurbishment might be ending soon. Late last year, the scrim was temporarily rolled up as well, which revealed sheathing underneath.

We speculate the scrim might have been rolled up due to the inclement weather at Disneyland, as it was raining during our visit. At some point, the rain becomes so severe that construction crews have to roll up the scrim so the water doesn’t pool or the scrim becomes too heavy for the scaffolding to support it.
The quick-service location remains open during the refurbishment. It normally looks like this, and has appeared this way since at least September 2025.
Bluey is coming to the nearby Fantasyland Theatre in late March with a new show, for which we saw fake trees being installed. The refurbishment might be finished by the time of the show’s debut, as the press release promised themed foods to Bluey at the location (although it’s currently open and serving food).
