When Bluey arrives at Disney’s Animal Kingdom this May, Affection Section will be renamed. The petting zoo closed with the rest of Rafiki’s Planet Watch last month.

Affection Section Becomes Jumping Junction

Affection Section will now be “Jumping Junction.” As previously announced, the goats and other Affection Section animals are being re-homed. Jumping Junction will introduce animals native to Bluey’s home country of Australia.

We don’t know how much theming around the petting zoo might change.

Disney announced on Thursday that the Bluey experience would be called “Bluey’s Wild World” and will open for Cool Kids’ Summer on May 26.

Bluey and her sister Bingo will appear inside Conservation Station, playing games and dancing with guests. They are expected to appear where The Animation Experience took place while a new Animation Academy will open at Disney’s Hollywood Studios later this summer.
