Concrete is in place for the new Tropical Americas carousel and crews have added more to the Encanto show building in the upcoming Tropical Americas land at Disney’s Animal Kingdom. It replaces DinoLand, U.S.A.
Encanto Building

The Encanto building has more silver steel beams around its exterior. These join the reddish-brown framework that was first constructed. Eventually, the building will resemble Casita.
Tropical Americas Carousel

In our last update, the circular foundation of the land’s carousel had been filled with rebar. Concrete has now been poured over the rebar, making a flat base for the future ride. It will consist of wood-carved Disney animals like Kevin from Up.
More Tropical Americas Construction

The tent cover of the Restaurantosaurus bar building has been completely removed, revealing its glass roof. Restaurantosaurus will be reimagined into a hacienda. For now, the restaurant’s sign and some props remain above its main entrance.
Aladar and Dino-Sue were removed from the land a few weeks ago.
