Isle of Java is a Discovery Island area coffee shop that will now open later in the morning at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

New Opening Time

This morning, March 12, one of our reporters noticed signs sitting in the ordering window at Isle of Java. These signs read “Serving from 9:00 a.m.” This is a change as the coffee shop used to open when the park did, usually at 8 a.m.

Our reporter stopped by the location just around 8:20 a.m. noting the change in operating hours.

At this time, it appears the other coffee shops at the park are still operating at park open. These include Kusafiri Coffee Shop & Bakery, Creature Comforts (Starbucks), and Joffrey’s Coffee & Tea Company in Asia. The Joffrey’s location outside the park entrance is usually open sooner than park entry.
