Plans to bring Disneyland to Abu Dhabi are still moving forward, as Miral’s chief reaffirms commitment to the project on the Disney park.

In a post on LinkedIn congratulating Thomas Mazloum on his appointment as Chairman of Disney Experiences, Mohamed Abdalla Al Zaabi, Miral Group’s chief, reaffirmed the dedication to the project as conflict continues in the Middle East and attention around major regional projects has intensified. This reaffirmation is significant for investors, tourism operators, and Disney fans tracking the project.

The Disneyland Abu Dhabi project was first announced in May 2025 through a partnership between Miral and The Walt Disney Company, marking the first Disney theme park destination in the Middle East.
