Disneyland Paris has updated its Theme Park Rules, further restricting the use of electronic devices throughout the entire resort, as it prepares for the grand (re)opening of Disney Adventure World.

Disneyland Paris Restricts Devices

The Theme Park Rules section on the website clarifies the restrictions a bit. The list is provided for informational purposes only and is non-exhaustive:

  • Telescopic poles, tripods, monopods, or any extension accessories for electronic devices,
including but not limited to mobile phones, cameras, and video equipment if they exceed 20 cm when fully extended.
  • Any equipment or material that may disturb the visitor experience, pose a danger, or be used for photography or filming (commercial, journalistic, or promotional purposes), as well as any device likely to compromise visitor safety or comfort.
  • Any recreational devices such as drones and remote control toys.
  • Any items that we may deem harmful, disruptive or inappropriate

This would include items like professional cameras, lenses over 135 mm, lighting equipment, and microphones, though we could not find an exhaustive list of prohibited items.

Walt Disney Studios Park has been undergoing significant changes and will be renamed Disney Adventure World when World of Frozen opens later this month. This year, the updated World Premiere entrance will open. In addition to World of Frozen, the Adventure Bay expansion includes The Regal View Restaurant and Lounge, gardens, the “Tangled”-inspired Rapunzel Tangled Spin. The park’s update also included a reimagining of the entrance space, now dubbed World Premiere.

The Disneyland Paris 2024/2025 Fiscal Year report came out last month and indicated growth across several categories. With financial data from Oct 1, 2024, to Sept 30, 2025, the report indicates huge increases, particularly in net profits. Recently, it was revealed the nighttime spectacular Tales of Magic will only be performed without drones permanently from April 1 onward.
