Walt Disney Imagineering filed a permit for set installation at the new Encanto attraction under construction in Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

People walk towards a vibrant, tropical house with colorful flowers and lush greenery in a picturesque setting, reminiscent of an enchanting attraction you might find at Disney's Animal Kingdom.

The Notice of Commencement contracts Scenario to “Install set elements” at 540 Dinoland Drive, the approximate location of the new Encanto ride building. It expires in one year.

Crews have been assembling the framework of the Encanto building since December. By February 19, it was topped off with an American flag, part of a construction tradition.

An audience watches an animated scene featuring colorful characters, animals, and vibrant jungle foliage, illuminated by glowing orbs from a tree—reminiscent of Disney's Animal Kingdom magic.

The permit confirms crews will soon start installing themed elements. This could include Casita-inspired sets. The ride’s facade will be the house and guests will ride through it on enchanted furniture.

The ride is set to open as part of the new Tropical Americas land in 2027. The land will also include a carousel and Indiana Jones attraction.
