Photos from the ground reveal progress on Lakeshore Lodge at Walt Disney World, where it appears several sections of the building have received their final paint scheme.

The Disney Vacation Club resort, set to open in 2027, will be “inspired by the majesty of nature and its enduring influence on Disney artists.” When the resort was first announced, it was marketed as a Princess and the Frog-inspired location set to be a full-on, standalone table service restaurant on Bay Lake. However, now that plans for the resort have changed, this may not be the case.

It appears when comparing this color of paint to that of the concept art, that these will be the final colors for some of the resort. The colors are a lime green, with a darker shade near the top of the building. Extra “details” will be added later to make the resort blend in better with its environment. The section of which the pictures were taken are that of the right side of the resort, as can be seen below from aerial photos (source: Bioreconstruct):

Disney Lakeshore Lodge is being built next to Fort Wilderness Resort on the former River Country site, across the water from the abandoned Discovery Island in Bay Lake. Take a look at the latest construction update here.
