About the Ride

Get ready to groove Groot-style as you pilot a spacecraft up and down across the cosmos—all while listening to a totally awesome mixtape of classic tunes broadcasted by Groot.

The premise is that you are a newly initiated pilot of your very own Xandarian Nova Corp Bass Jumper, and you’ll rocket around the upper decks of the Disney Adventure. The attraction is designed as a family-friendly ride experience at sea, combining playful visuals with gentle spinning motion.

Groot and Rocket talk to you as you board and crew members check that your safety belt is properly secured. Guests will be able to control how high or low their vehicle goes. The ride lasts approximately 1.5 minutes. The music appeared to be generic beats, not a ” totally awesome mixtape of classic tunes” as described.

The ride vehicles have a similar color palette to the Starjumper vehicles on Guardians of the Galaxy: Cosmic Rewind at EPCOT, with gold, blue, and purple tones mixing with black and silver metallics. They seat two people.

Precautions

Guests show make note of the following precautions and requirements:

• In order to ride, Guests must meet the minimum height requirement of 81 cm (32 in).
• Children must be supervised at all times. Children under 7 years of age must be accompanied by a Guest 14 years or older.
• Appropriate attire must be worn at all times. Shoes are required.
• Guests who use a wheelchair, scooter or other mobility device must transfer from it to participate.
• Service Dogs Permitted with Caution: Guests with service dogs should check with a Crew Member for attraction and boarding information.
• Attractions and entertainment are subject to change without notice and are subject to availability.

Marvel Landing

This unique adventure zone on the upper deck of the Disney Adventure is a celebration of the larger-than-life personalities from the Marvel Universe. with the signature “Stark-itechture” style.

There is a sundeck, infinity pool, bar serving refreshments, and three attractions in total. Along with Groot Galaxy Spin, guests can also ride Ironcycle Test Run and Pym Quantum Racers.
