Retro Avengers Action Figure Set – $99.99

This set includes four retro-style action figures of Iron Man, Captain America, Thor, and the Hulk. The action figures are recommended for ages 14+.

The characters are sculpted from plastic with fabric clothing, inspired by their vintage comic book costumes. Each figure is 8 inches tall with 26 points of articulation.

It includes a golden limited-release medallion featuring the four Avengers.

As described on the back of the box, the set is based on original Mego Corp. figures and was relaunched by Marty Abrams, the “father of the action figure.” Mego Corp. was started by his father, David Abrams, in 1954 and was named by his younger brother Howard, who later became head of sales. Mego Corp. sold over 20 million of its now-standard 8-inch action figures worldwide.

Though the original Mego Corporation filed for bankruptcy and ceased to exist in the 1980s, it was relaunched in 2018 and continues to release replicas of its old toys.
