Guests at Disney’s Animal Kingdom at Walt Disney World may receive a Hoppers activity book. There was a Cast Member by the entrance handing them out on March 12.

Hoppers Activity Book

The front of the activity book is Ellen the bear holding Mabel Beaver in her mouth. Small print on the front of the book says “Created in partnership with Disney’s Animals, Science and Environment.”

Inside, the book explains what each section covers and summarizes the film Hoppers, which is now in theaters and opened at #1 at the box office.

On the next page, guests can learn more about the storyline of Hoppers as well as some of the central characters. This includes Mabel, King George, Loaf, Tom, Ellen, and The Council.

On the next page, guests can choose which type of animal they would want to hop into and draw themselves as that animal in the free space.

Next, learn more about King George and his “pond rules.” This includes identifying some animal behaviors and which pond rules they apply to. Because, after all, we are all in this together.

Guests can then learn about all the incredible ways animals adapt in the wild. This includes matching animals to their specialized adaptations, too. Like figuring out which animal can taste with its feet!

On the final page, learn all about the importance of keystone species like the beaver. Then apply everything you’ve learned to a little quiz about animals and a maze.
