Universal Studios Japan has released over 100 items to celebrate its 25th anniversary. The merchandise includes beloved characters from several franchises, including Hello Kitty, Sesame Street, Peanuts, Mario Kart, and Minions.

This pink t-shirt has a winking Hello Kitty in her 25th anniversary dress next to multicolored hearts, bows, paint splatters, and her name logo.

This sky-blue shirt depicts the minions Stuart, Kevin, and Bob celebrating as multicolored streamers and paint splatters decorate the shirt above them.

This black t-shirt shows Bowser driving a kart while holding up a red shell to throw at someone. A red Mario Kart logo is printed vertically along the edge of the shirt, while Bowser is surrounded by other items like a blue shell, a coin, and lightning.

This teal-colored t-shirt has a jagged yellow stripe across the front to mimic Charlie Brown’s iconic shirt and is decorated with Snoopy and Charlie Brown in their anniversary outfits. There is also a yellow paw print on the top left corner of the shirt.
Pikachu T-Shirt – ¥3,500 (kids) / ¥4,500 (adults)
This yellow t-shirt features Pikachu in four different poses and outfits. These include posing with his tail up while wearing a bow tie, flying while balloons are tied to his waist, wearing his 25th anniversary outfit next to a heart-shaped Poké ball, and surfing on a pink board.
Poké Ball Pullover – ¥5,900
This pullover for adults is red on top and white on the bottom to mimic a Poké Ball. A black stripe goes across the middle of the pullover to complete the design.
Universal Studios Japan 25 Jacket – ¥25,000
This black jacket has one patch on the top left of the chest that says, “Universal Studios Japan – Since 2001.” The sleeves of the jacket are decorated with patches of several opening day attractions, while the back of the jacket has a large design featuring Jaws, Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, and E.T.

Pokémon Photo Props
Three photo props featuring Pikachu are featured in this set. One of the props shows Pikachu being carried by balloons, with two of them in the shape of “2” and “5.”

Pikachu Headband
In royal blue, this headband has two plush Pikachu in 25th anniversary attire on either side. At the center of the headband is an image of two Pikachus, one on a surfboard and the other being carried by balloons.
Pikachu Hat
This soft, Pikachu hat has two blue pieces of fabric that hang down on either side. It appears the ends of the fabric have buttons on them, which cause Pikachu’s ears to move.
Universal Studios Japan Hat – ¥5,300
Various Universal film characters or iconography are featured as embroideries on this black hat. These include a DeLorean, E.T., a T.rex and the shark from Jaws.
Universal Studios Japan Strap Set – ¥3,500
Five charms in this set each represent a different iconic Universal character or symbol. These are the shark from Jaws, the DeLorean, a T.rex, E.T., and Woody Woodpecker.
Towel Blanket – ¥4,800
Similar to the other Universal Studios Japan-focused merchandise featured above, this towel blanket also shows characters or iconography.
Universal Studios Japan 25th Anniversary Pen
This multi-color pen has four different color options, which include blue and green. It also features classic Universal Studios iconography like the most recent merchandise above.
E.T. Clip
In an image of E.T. wearing Elliott’s hoodie, this appears to be a plastic chip clip.

This Elmo plush toy is wearing his 25th anniversary outfit, a blue velvet overall ensemble.

This Hello Kitty plush also shows this beloved character all dressed up for the 25th anniversary celebration. She is wearing multiple, colorful bows and a brightly colored dress.

This Minion plush, which appears to be Bob, is wearing a party hat and has streamers attached to his overalls.
Mario Kart Figure – ¥2,500
This Mario Kart figure shows Mario racing down Rainbow Road while being chased by a Bullet Bill.

Snoopy Plush – ¥3,900
Snoopy, in plush form, has a smile on his face, and his eyes are closed. His ears and nose are blue, and he is wearing a four-color sweatshirt for the 25th anniversary.
Charlie Brown Plush – ¥3,900
Similar to the Snoopy plush, the Charlie Brown plush is also wearing a four-color block shirt. He is also wearing a shiny pink hat.
Rubber Jurassic Park Dino Duck – ¥4,400
In an homage to Jurassic Park, this rubber ducky is wearing a T.rex costume.
Doc Brown Rubber Ducky – ¥4,400
This rubber ducky is dressed as Doc Brown from Back to the Future and is holding the remote that controls the DeLorean.
Marty McFly Rubber Ducky – ¥2,000
Similar to the rubber duck above, this one is dressed as Marty McFly from Back to the Future.

Hello Kitty Crossbody Bag – ¥3,500
With a grey strap, this crossbody bag is shaped like Hello Kitty’s face. She is winking, and the front of the bag appears to be decorated with confetti.
Minions Coin Purse – ¥2,300
These coin purses have attached lobster claw clips for easy carrying. The purses are circular and, on one side, appear as a goggled Minion eye, while the other shows Stuart, Bob, and Kevin standing together.
Sesame Street Coin Pouch – ¥2,300
Made of brightly colored vinyl, this coin pouch appears to be designed as a pair of overalls with two yellow straps that come down on either side of the purse, shaped like shorts. The purse says Sesame Street on the front and has a silver lobster claw clip attached.
Hello Kitty Pouch – ¥2,300
This Hello Kitty coin purse is bright pink with Hello Kitty herself, her name, and lots of multicolored bows on the front of it. It has a pink lobster claw clip on the top of it.
Minions Crossbody Bag – ¥3,500
Similar to the Hello Kitty crossbody bag, this Minion bag is decorated with shiny confetti on the front. The circular bag looks like a Minion’s face and has a yellow shoulder strap.
Mario Kart Crossbody Bag – ¥3,500
Also circular, this crossbody bag has a black and white checkered shoulder strap. Mario and Bowser are shown racing on the front surrounded by game iconography like a banana peel and gold star.
Pikachu/Pokémon Pouch – ¥2,300
This yellow Pikachu/Pokémon pouch has a green wrist strap. The front of the bag is see-through with splashes of color and “Pokémon” on it. While the other side is opaque and decorated with images of four different Pikachus.
Snoopy Crossbody/Sacoche – ¥3,500
A plush Snoopy is on the front of this fabric crossbody bag/sacoche. It is decorated with splashes of color, and the teal bottom half says “Peanuts” in white text.

With a yellow lobster claw clip attached to the top, this circular coin purse looks like a Poké Ball.
Universal Studios Japan Tote – ¥4,500

Fabric puff balls in blue, yellow, orange, and green comprise this Minions bracelet. The yellow puffs have Minion faces on them.
Sesame Street Plush Bracelet – ¥2,200
Similar to the Minions bracelet, this Sesame Street bracelet is also made up of fuzzy fabric balls. A few appear to represent characters from the show, such as Big Bird, Elmo, and Oscar the Grouch.
Pikachu Charm Necklace
A two-layer necklace that includes four Pikachu metal charms. One layer is a yellow chain, and the other has beads of several colors and shapes with the Pikachus throughout.
Snoopy Plush Necklace – ¥2,900
A plush Snoopy in his 25th anniversary outfit beside a lightning bolt with Woodstock and paw prints is on a silver-tone chain.
Pikachu Plush Ring
This two-piece plush ring set has two different embroidered images of Pikachu on it. In one, Pikachu is being carried by balloons, and the other is wearing a top hat and vest.

Minions Corn Potage Snack – ¥1,800
These Minions-themed corn potage (corn soup) flavored snacks come in a maraca-shaped holder.
Mario Kart Rice Crackers – ¥1,800
These rice crackers come in little packages decorated with a different Mario Kart character on each.
Mario Kart Crunchy Chocolates – ¥1,900
Crunchy chocolate snacks come in these Mario Kart boxes that show a range of characters driving their carts.
Pokémon Ramune Candy – ¥2,100
These circular, tablet candies come in Ramune flavor. They are decorated with Pokémon imagery like Pikachu and come in a Poké Ball-shaped holder on a Pikachu lanyard.
Pikachu Sponge Cakes – ¥1,900
Circular spongecakes in this box are decorated with four different images of Pikachu.
Peanuts Assorted Sweets in Tin – ¥1,800
Sold in a collectible tin, this Peanuts-themed sweets set comes with Snoopy and flower-shaped treats, among others.
Universal Studios Japan 25th Anniversary Chocolate Covered Cookies – ¥1,600
These chocolate-covered cookies come in a tin shaped like a film reel with Universal Studios iconography on it, like E.T.

Minions Water Bottle – ¥3,200
This translucent Minions water bottle has an orange wrist strap. Kevin, Stuart, and Bob are shown on one side. On the other side is Bob, with Tim the bear on his head, holding streamers.
Mario Kart Water Bottle – ¥3,200
Similar to the other water bottle, this one is translucent but orange with an iridescent wrist strap. Mario is shown driving his go-kart on the front of the bottle.
Pikachu Water Bottle – ¥3,200
In yellow, this translucent water bottle has two different Pikachus on the front of it and a teal wrist strap.
Peanuts Water Bottle – ¥3,200
In translucent teal, this water bottle has a blue wrist strap and Snoopy and Charlie Brown in their celebratory outfits on the front.

Four themed glasses come in this Discover U!!! set. Each has different characters on it. One has Elmo and Cookie Monster, another the Minions, then Hello Kitty, and the Peanuts.
Universal Studios Japan 25th Anniversary Stainless Steel Tumbler – ¥3,200
This stainless steel tumbler glass has “Universal Studios Japan 25th Anniversary Since 2001” on it. There are several park icons on it as well, including a T.rex and the shark from Jaws.

Souvenir Medallions – ¥200
Souvenir medallions for the Universal Studios Japan 25th anniversary appear to be coming throughout the year. During our visit, only two Hello Kitty medallions and a Universal Studios Japan 25th anniversary medallion were available.
Collectible Figures – ¥1,400 each or ¥15,000 for All
Collectible figures for the 25th anniversary are available, including Woody and Winnie Woodpecker. You can purchase them separately or as a set.
Discover U!!! Box Stationery Set – ¥2,900
This stationery set comes with a foldable gift box, and all feature Universal Studios Japan characters as well as the Discover U!!! or 25th anniversary wordmark.
Discover U!!! Collectible Plush Mascot – ¥2,000
Plush mascot keychains for the 25th anniversary are available, holding a fabric sign for the event. Characters include Hello Kitty, Bob the Minion, Elmo, Snoopy, and Woody Woodpecker.
Collectible Pin Frame Set – ¥5,900
This pin set comes in a frame. Each pin represents a different icon from Universal Studios Japan.
