With the latest update of My Disney Experience, the Walt Disney World app, the search page has been updated with a new visual style.
My Disney Experience Search Update
The left photo above is how the search page looks when users are typing their query and the app suggests different offerings. On the right above is how the page looks after hitting “search.”
The search bar is more rounded than before and the suggestions have a slightly lighter-colored text. But the biggest change is the look of the results after hitting “search.” They are now large boxes, although they display the same information: name of the offering, location, and image.
Before, the search results were in smaller lines, as seen before.
If you have not updated your app or allowed it to auto-update, you may still see the old version of the search, as seen above.
The actual search results are the same as before — the update is purely aesthetic.
Other recent updates to My Disney Experience include a merchandise search test and the addition of character images.
