Pirates of the Caribbean and Blue Bayou Refurbishment

Both will be closed beginning on May 4, 2026. The final day to dine at the restaurant or experience Pirates of the Caribbean before the closure will be May 3.
Blue Bayou Restaurant is “tentatively” scheduled to reopen in late May with a “modified dining experience while Pirates of the Caribbean is also under refurbishment, as views will be obstructed and Guests may hear some refurbishment noise.”
Disney did not announce a reopening timeframe for Pirates of the Caribbean or any changes to the ride. The refurbishment is likely for general maintenance.

Blue Bayou is a table-service restaurant overlooking the beginning of Pirates of the Caribbean. It’s open for lunch and dinner from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m. most days, offering Cajun-Creole cuisine. Reservations are recommended.
