There’s some kind of work going on where an Indiana Jones merchandise kiosk used to be outside Backlot Express at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. The kiosk included a prop truck that was removed in 2021 and never returned.
Indiana Jones Merch Kiosk Construction

All that remains of the former “store” is a shed and some wooden posts. Until this week, there was also a net shade. The shade was recently removed.

Some rolling planters are next to the shed, near the exit of Indiana Jones Epic Stunt Spectacular. These kinds of planters are usually used to hide construction from guests.

Those aren’t the only signs of work, however. The screen has been removed from this nearby tip board.
Below are pictures of the area including the net shade from 2021.

Some of the shed’s decorative ropes and the adjacent table were removed years ago.
In the past few years, the space has been used as a home for outdoor vending carts and special meet and greets.
We don’t know if Disney has new plans for the area or is just refurbishing some elements.
