Buzz Lightyear Bubble Blower Inspired by New Ride Blasters Already Available at Disney World

A new bubble blower inspired by the new Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin blasters is available at Walt Disney World ahead of the ride’s reopening. We also found a new Buzz Lightyear drawstring backpack.

Buzz Bubble Blaster – $34.99

The blaster is gray with a white circular muzzle. The Space Rangers “SR” logo is on a green panel on each side. Green elements are also on the handle and on top of the blaster.

It comes with a purple 2 oz bottle of bubbles mixture. This screws onto the front of the blaster, below the muzzle. Tiny bubbles then shoot out of the front of the blaster.

The muzzle and fin on top light up in various colors.

It doesn’t have a trigger but an on/off switch on one side of the handle. This is above the battery pack.

It looks almost exactly like the new handheld blasters on Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin, pictured below.

A person holds a toy ray gun with green accents over a black table. Another similar ray gun with red accents lies on the table.

We got to playtest the blasters last year. Though there’s only a green version of the toy, there will also be red blasters on the ride. The ride’s blasters will also light up and interact with updated targets.

We found the bubble blaster in Jessie’s Trading Post at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Tomorrowland Launch Depot at Magic Kingdom.

Buzz Lightyear Drawstring Backpack – $19.99

Carry your blaster in this Buzz-inspired drawstring backpack, which we saw in Tomorrowland Launch Depot at Magic Kingdom. It has an all-over print inspired by Buzz’s armor. The top carry handle is purple and the drawstring shoulder straps are black.

Buzz Lightyear’s Space ranger Spin will reopen with the new blasters and more updates on April 8.
