Is the luck of the Irish with Parkside Market’s Just My Luck Latte? One of our reporters recently stopped by to try the latte and send back a review of her thoughts.
Just My Luck Latte – $6.75/12 oz or $7/16 oz
A dreamy blend of vanilla and marshmallow, finished with fluffy dairy cold foam, sprinkled with sweet and crunchy cereal
After trying the latte, our reporter said she was “genuinely shocked by how nice this was.” If you like specialty coffee, as our reporter does, she notes that this is a good one to try.
“The marshmallow in the coffee is very subtle to non-existent, mostly just a nice vanilla latte… but this loses a point because there really wasn’t any marshmallow at all, and I was promised marshmallow! Though that probably kept it from being too sweet, who’s to say?
However, our reporter added that the toppings are where this item really shines. “Not-Lucky Charms” were fresh and crunchy and tasted exactly how you want them to. The dairy cold foam created a gently sweet milk and cereal experience as you sipped, and I was a big fan.” She also recommends eating the cereal first because the pieces do get soggy over time.
“If you like vanilla lattes and cereal, you will like this a lot!” she added. She also wanted to note that the latte can also be ordered hot, which she suspects would also make it sweeter.
