The retro themes of the 2026 runDisney Virtual Series will be based on The Emperor’s New Groove (2000), Hercules (1997), Pocahontas (1995), and A Goofy Movie (1995).

A teaser on social media features the silhouettes of Hercules, Kuzco, Pocahontas, Max, and Goofy. runDisney said the virtual races would give runners “flashback feels” with “Retro vibes, classic Disney Characters and bling.”

Registration for the virtual series will open to the general public on April 7. Participants can complete the races at their own pace from June 1 through August 31.

Last month, runDisney teased next year’s Walt Disney World Marathon Weekend themed to Donald Duck.
